PRESIDENT OF INDIA WILL PRESENT NATIONAL AWARDS FOR THE EMPOWERMENT OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES TOMORROW

The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee will present the National Awards for the Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities on the occasion of International Day of Disabled Persons tomorrow (December 3, 2013) at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi.

The National Awards for the Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities has been instituted by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. These awards are given to outstanding achievers among persons with disabilities, as well as to individuals and institutions which do outstanding work for the empowerment of such persons.
