EXPERT COMMITTEE ON LEVERAGING PANCHAYAT RAJ INSTITUTIONS CALL ON PRESIDENT

The Expert Committee on Leveraging Panchayat Raj Institutions for the more efficient delivery of public good and services called on the President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee today (May 4, 2013) at Rashtrapati Bhavan and made a presentation on the contents of its 20th anniversary Report.
The Committee was constituted by the Union Ministry of Panchayati Raj on August 27, 2012 under the chairmanship of Shri Mani Shankar Aiyar. Other members of Committee who called on the President included Shri Peelipose Thomas,, Shri Manabendra Nath Roy and Member Secretary Shri M.V. Rao.
