PRESIDENT OF INDIA EXPRESSES DEEP CONCERN OVER THE TERRORIST ATTACK ON THE PARLIAMENT OF AFGHANISTAN

The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee has expressed deep concern over the terrorist attack on the Parliament of Afghanistan today.

In his message to H.E. Mr. Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, the President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, the President said "It was with deep concern that I heard of the dastardly terrorist attack on the Parliament of Afghanistan earlier today. It was a relief that all the Members of the Afghan Parliament who had been present in the building are safe.

       The people of India will always stand by the brave people of Afghanistan in their fight against violence and extremism”.
